JUNE Event Ideas

Large Event idea:

OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT

Host an outdoor movie screening in a local park or common area of your neighborhood. Rent a large screen and projector to play the movie on, and provide popcorn, snacks, and drinks while families relax and enjoy a movie under the stars. If you really want to leave a lasting impression, give out drink koozies that have your real estate logo or branding on them so they take them home and see your name every time they use it!

Example Event Schedule:

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Setup and Pre-Event Activities

You and/or your team arrive at the outdoor venue to set up for the event.

Arrange seating areas with blankets, chairs, and cushions.

Set up a concession stand with popcorn, snacks, and beverages (and your custom koozies if you’re doing them!)

Decorate the venue with string lights, banners, and balloons, adding a branded sign at the concession table about your real estate services.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Welcome and Socializing Hour

Welcome guests as they arrive and direct them to the seating area.

Mix and mingle with attendees, engaging in casual conversation and networking.

Provide information about your real estate services and upcoming listings in the area/neighborhood

Offer refreshments and snacks from the concession stand, and pass out your branded koozies.

7:00 PM – 7:15 PM: Introduction and Thank You

Gather guests for a brief introduction and thank you speech by the real estate agent.

Express gratitude to attendees for joining the event and supporting the local community.

Share the schedule for the evening’s movie screening and any additional activities.

7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Outdoor Movie Screening

Dim the lights and start the outdoor movie screening as the sun sets.

Play a selection of family-friendly or popular movies, depending on the event theme.

Encourage guests to enjoy popcorn and snacks from the concession stand during the movie.

Note: You may have to adjust the timing of the schedule based on when it gets dark in your area. You’ll want it to be just getting dark when the movie starts so people don’t have trouble finding seats but you can clearly see the screen! You will also want to choose a movie that is family friendly because that is who will be most attracted to an event like this!

Smaller Event Idea: Ice cream social

Set up an ice cream station at a local park or community center. Offer free ice cream cones or sundaes as a sweet treat for families while mingling and networking.
